Hello and welcome to July: In Review.
The end of September already? That can only mean one thing, it’s time for our monthly recap of the best retail and ecommerce stories to hit our screens this month.
September has certainly been full of tonnes of great content with the fashion industry taking center stage and the holiday season content in full swing as we inch ever so closer to the busiest shopping period of the year.
Now it’s time for us to recap on the hottest content to grace the internet this month...
Optimizing your inventory management is important at any time of year but it’s even more crucial during the holiday season as it’s easy to lose control in the busy shopping periods. With tips including how to make sure you avoid stock outs, organize your warehouse, and streamline your pick, pack, ship process, this blog is not to be missed. Read the full blog with even more useful tips for success this holiday season.
The fashion weeks have taken over this month from London to New York and Milan to Paris, it’s been a big month for fashion. There was one topic of conversation which took center stage… shoppable catwalks as the ‘see now, buy now’ strategy begins to become a reality.
The need for immediacy in the fashion industry is becoming very prominent and accessibility of new-season collections is become easier. Topshop launched ‘Runway to Retail’ at London Fashion week (which can be seen in the video above) by making their collection available immediately after the show. Other retailers including Ralph Lauren and Tom Ford also adopted the idea of shoppable catwalks. Read Econsultancy’s article to find out more.
